Job summary

Tyler Technologies, Inc. seeks a Proposal Development Specialist for Enterprise Payments to drive timely, compliant, and strategic proposals. This hybrid role blends persuasive writing with end-to-end coordination, supporting RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and related requests across the organization.

You will partner with Sales, product, legal, and other teams to craft compelling responses, maintain content libraries, and ensure high-quality submissions while adhering to branding and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or comparable professional experience.
• Experience with proposal writing and coordination, or deadline-driven roles.
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication; ability to translate technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to interpret solicitation requirements and manage multiple projects.
• Attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and work independently.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint; familiarity with proposal automation tools like Qvidian.
• Familiarity with responsible use of generative AI in proposals, with validation and controls.

Responsibilities

• Build knowledge of Enterprise Payments solutions, buyers, competitors, and market trends.
• Oversee end-to-end proposal coordination from kickoff to submission.
• Ensure compliance of responses with requirements and submission formats.
• Collaborate with Sales, product, marketing, legal, and others to gather inputs.
• Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders.
• Draft clear, customer-focused boilerplate and narratives.
• Create and maintain reusable content and knowledge repositories.
• Edit and proofread for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with messaging.
• Support broader RFP work when possible.
