Job summary

Tyler Technologies, Inc. seeks a Proposal Development Specialist for Enterprise Payments. This hybrid role blends persuasive writing with end-to-end proposal coordination to help Sales win new and expanded business, and to support RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs as bandwidth allows.

You will partner with Sales, product management, marketing, legal, and implementation teams to gather inputs, build compliant responses, and manage content libraries for repeatable, high-quality submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, business, or related field, or comparable experience.
• Experience in proposal writing, proposal coordination, or deadline-driven roles with technology/payments/public sector procurement preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts into clear language.
• Ability to interpret solicitation requirements, organize compliant responses, and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build knowledge of Enterprise Payments to support differentiated responses.
• Manage proposals from kickoff to final submission with schedules and document tracking.
• Ensure compliance, structures, forms, and attachments are addressed.
• Collaborate with Sales, product management, marketing, legal, and others to gather inputs.
• Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders.
• Develop boilerplate and narratives aligned with messaging and opportunities.
• Maintain reusable content and knowledge repositories for efficiency.
• Edit and proofread materials for accuracy and consistency.
• Support non-Enterprise Payments proposals when possible.
