Job summary

Noblis MSD is seeking an experienced engineering technician to provide on-site and remote Post-Shakedown Availability (PSA) support for DDG51 Class ships. The role includes frequent travel to waterfront locations and collaboration with Navy stakeholders to implement HM&E system requirements.

The position is fully remote with CONUS coverage and requires travel 50–70% of the time, supporting NSA/NSWCPD activities and coordinating with PMs to ensure PSA milestones are met while maintaining EST

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree & 3 years of experience; Will also consider an Associate's degree & 6 years, or a High School diploma & 9 years of relevant experience.
Prior experience in the operation, maintenance, testing and repair of HM&E equipment installed on U.S. Navy surface ships.
Prior experience in development, review or conducting formal tests of HM&E equipment onboard U.S. Navy surface ships.
Demonstrated experience with surface ships systems such as gas turbine propulsion, machinery control, and other HM&E systems.

Responsibilities

Schedule and support PSA activities at the waterfront for newly construction DDG 51 Class ships
Participate in routine sponsor meetings
Participate in daily technical status reviews with Navy stakeholders
Coordinate with ISEAs and hull managers to develop, alter and implement new technical requirements for DDG 51 HM&E systems
