Job summary

Noblis MSD is seeking an experienced engineering technician to provide on-site and remote Post-Shakedown Availability (PSA) support for DDG51 Class ships, traveling 50-75% of the time to Mayport, Norfolk, and Pascagoula. You will coordinate with NSWCPD and PMs to implement HM&E tech requirements in PSA status.

The role requires US citizenship and an active DoD SECRET clearance, a relevant degree or equivalent experience, and willingness to work across CONUS with EST business hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in operation, maintenance, testing and repair of HM&E equipment on U.S. Navy surface ships.
• Experience in development, review or conducting formal tests of HM&E equipment onboard U.S. Navy surface ships.
• Familiarity with gas turbine propulsion, machinery control, and other HM&E systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and support PSA activities at the waterfront for newly constructed DDG 51 Class ships.
• Participate in routine sponsor meetings.
• Participate in daily technical status reviews with Navy stakeholders.
• Coordinate with ISEAs and hull managers to develop, alter and implement new technical requirements for DDG 51 HM&E systems.
