Job summary

Noblis MSD is seeking an experienced engineering technician to provide on-site and remote Post-Shakedown Availability (PSA) support for DDG51 Class ships. The role involves travel to waterfront locations, coordination with Navy stakeholders, and development of HM&E requirements.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's or equivalent, Navy HM&E experience, and DoD SECRET clearance. The position supports NAVSEA and NSWCPD and offers remote/hybrid work with EST-based meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience with HM&E equipment on U.S. Navy surface ships.
• Experience in development, review or testing of HM&E equipment onboard Navy ships.
• Experience with surface ships systems such as gas turbine propulsion and machinery control.
• Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time (CONUS).
• U.S. citizenship with active DoD SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and support PSA activities at waterfronts for newly constructed DDG 51 ships.
• Participate in sponsor meetings.
• Participate in daily technical status reviews with Navy stakeholders.
• Coordinate with ISEAs and hull managers to develop, alter and implement HM&E requirements.
