Job summary

Noblis MSD is seeking an experienced engineering technician to provide on-site and remote Post-Shakedown Availability (PSA) support for DDG51 Class ships. You will travel extensively (50-75%) to waterfront locations and collaborate with NSWCPD and NAVSEA to develop and implement HM&E requirements for ships entering PSA status.

The role requires a US Citizen with an active DoD SECRET clearance and experience with Navy surface ship HM&E systems, including gas turbine propulsion and machinery

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience, or an Associate's with 6 years, or a HS diploma with 9 years of relevant experience.
• Experience operating, maintaining, testing and repairing HM&E equipment on US Navy ships.
• Experience developing, reviewing or conducting formal tests of HM&E equipment on Navy ships.
• Experience with surface ships systems such as gas turbine propulsion and machinery control.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and support PSA activities at the waterfront for newly constructed DDG 51 Class ships.
• Participate in routine sponsor meetings and daily technical status reviews with Navy stakeholders.
• Coordinate with ISEAs and hull managers to develop and implement new HM&E requirements.
