Job summary

Noblis MSD is seeking an experienced engineering technician to provide on-site and remote Post-Shakedown Availability (PSA) support for DDG51 Class ships. Noblis MSD supports NAVSEA and NSWCPD in research, development, test and evaluation, and life-cycle engineering with cybersecurity and logistics.

The role involves frequent long-term travel (50-75%) to waterfront sites and collaboration with NSWCPD PMs to develop and implement new HM&E requirements for DDG 51 HM&E systems, with consideration

Qualifications

• Experience with operation, maintenance, testing and repair of HM&E equipment on U.S. Navy ships.
• Experience in development or testing of HM&E equipment onboard U.S. Navy ships.
• Willingness to travel 50-70% of time (CONUS) and active DoD SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and support PSA activities at waterfront for DDG 51 ships.
• Participate in sponsor meetings and daily status reviews with Navy stakeholders.
• Coordinate with ISEAs and hull managers to implement new HM&E requirements.
