Job summary

Noblis MSD seeks an experienced engineering technician to deliver on-site and remote Post-Shakedown Availability (PSA) support for DDG51 class ships, in partnership with NAVSEA and NSWCPD. The role involves coordinating PSA activities, sponsor meetings, and status reviews, with frequent travel to waterfront locations and EST-aligned meetings.

Qualified candidates have a relevant degree and Navy HM&E experience; US citizenship and DoD SECRET clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in operation, maintenance, testing and repair of HM&E equipment on US Navy ships.
• Experience in development, review or testing of HM&E equipment onboard US Navy ships.
• Knowledge of surface ships systems such as gas turbine propulsion and machinery control.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and support PSA activities at waterfronts for newly constructed DDG 51 ships.
• Participate in sponsor meetings and daily status reviews with Navy stakeholders.
• Coordinate with ISEAs and hull managers to develop and implement HM&E system requirements.
• Travel between 50-75% of time to support ship trials.
