You will lead backend and frontend engineers, partnering with Security and Product to shape secure, scalable solutions while balancing architecture, execution, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing software engineers.
• Hands-on experience building identity, authentication, or authorization systems at scale.
• Strong architectural judgment in system design.
• Hands-on involvement with production code and debugging.
• Experience addressing security challenges in identity and authorization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for design documents.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision and roadmap for the identity and access platform.
• Manage and develop a team of backend and frontend engineers, setting clear expectations and providing feedback.
• Lead technical designs and participate in debugging and incident response.
• Collaborate with Security and Product to align on identity integration.
• Prioritize and sequence competing requests into a coherent roadmap, explaining trade-offs.
• Oversee the team’s delivery process, including planning and status reporting.
• Enhance engineering practices and operational readiness for reliable platform capabilities.
