Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, focused on SaaS.
• 3+ years of hands-on authentication and authorization experience.
• Experience with distributed applications development and maintenance.
• Mentoring juniors and conducting security-first reviews.
• Experience building scalable SaaS in high-growth startup environments.
• OIDC, SAML, SCIM knowledge.
• IAM concepts: RBAC/ABAC.
• REST API security-focused design.
• Web security vulnerabilities and mitigations.
• JWT/token-based auth.
• Session management and secure auth flows.
• Cyber security experience is a plus.
• Backend languages: Python, Go.
• Cloud platforms and scalable cloud systems.
• SQS and messaging systems.
• Distributed data stores: S3, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB.
• CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, code ownership.
• Distributed system design for fault tolerance and high availability.
• OpenTelemetry and Datadog for telemetry.
• Own and drive software from design through release.

Responsibilities
