Eliassen Group is seeking an Engineering Director to own the build and delivery of healthcare technology platforms. The role leads onshore and offshore engineers, remains hands-on in architecture, and champions AI-assisted engineering to improve software delivery.

The role reports to the VP of Technology and requires heavy collaboration with stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, compliant solutions supporting vulnerable seniors.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT design, development, and support with end-to-end enterprise delivery.
• Minimum 5 years in engineering leadership with distributed onshore/offshore teams.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft development tools and languages (.NET).
• Extensive experience with cloud-native architecture and Azure delivery.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and practices (LLMs, automation).

Responsibilities

• Lead onshore and offshore engineers delivering healthcare platforms and digital products.
• Perform hands-on solution architecture for complex distributed systems and review code/design.
• Drive engineering practices: code quality, testing, CI/CD, release management, and best practices.
• Champion AI-assisted engineering by embedding LLMs and automation into workflows.
• Partner with stakeholders from requirements through deployment and operational support.
