Job summary

The Eliassen Group is seeking an Engineering Director to own the build and delivery of healthcare technology platforms and digital products. You will lead onshore and offshore engineers, remain hands-on in solution architecture, and champion AI-assisted engineering to enhance software delivery.

Reporting to the VP of Technology, you will translate requirements into secure, compliant, and reliable solutions that support interdisciplinary care for vulnerable seniors, while guiding architecture

Qualifications

15+ years in IT design, development, and enterprise delivery.
5+ years in engineering leadership with distributed teams.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft development tools and languages (.NET).
Extensive experience with Azure and cloud-native architecture.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and practices.

Responsibilities

Lead onshore and offshore engineers to deliver healthcare platforms and digital products.
Perform hands-on solution architecture for distributed systems and participate in design/code reviews.
Drive engineering practices including code quality, design and code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and release management.
Champion AI-assisted engineering by embedding LLMs, AI tooling, and automation into workflows.
Partner with business stakeholders from requirements discovery through deployment and operational support.
Guide technology planning and investment decisions aligning platform solutions to roadmaps.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders across management levels.
Ensure security and data integrity for PCI and HIPAA objectives.
Migrate changes to production using established change management processes.
