Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks an Engineering Director to own the build and delivery of healthcare technology platforms and digital products. The role reports to the VP of Technology and leads onshore and offshore engineers, remaining hands-on in solution architecture for complex distributed systems and championing AI-assisted engineering to enhance software delivery.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits; W2 employment is required.

Qualifications

15+ years IT design, development and end-to-end delivery.
5+ years engineering leadership with distributed teams.
Expert in Microsoft tools and .NET with cross-discipline skills.
Extensive cloud experience, especially Azure.
Hands-on AI-assisted engineering and LLM tooling.
Strong problem solving and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

Lead onshore and offshore engineers delivering healthcare platforms and products.
Hands-on solution architecture for complex distributed systems.
Drive CI/CD, testing discipline, code reviews, and release management.
Champion AI-assisted engineering within design, build, test, and release workflows.
Partner with stakeholders from requirements through deployment and support.
Guide technology planning and platform roadmaps with leadership.
Ensure security and HIPAA/compliance in solutions.
Communicate with cross-functional teams and leadership levels.
