Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks an Engineering Director to own the design, build, and delivery of healthcare technology platforms and related digital products. The role leads onshore and offshore engineers, remaining hands‑on in architecture for distributed systems and championing AI‑assisted engineering to improve software delivery.

The Director reports to the VP of Technology, collaborates with stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, compliant solutions ensuring high reliability and patient

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT design, development, and support with end‑to‑end enterprise delivery.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership with distributed onshore/offshore teams.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft development tools and languages (.NET).
• Extensive experience with cloud‑native architecture and Azure delivery.
• Hands‑on with AI‑assisted engineering tools and practices (LLMs, tooling, automation).

Responsibilities

• Lead onshore and offshore engineers delivering healthcare platforms and digital products.
• Perform hands‑on solution architecture for complex distributed systems and participate in design reviews.
• Drive engineering practices: code quality, reviews, CI/CD, testing, and release management.
• Champion AI‑assisted engineering by embedding AI tools into design, build, test, and release workflows.
• Partner with stakeholders from requirements through deployment to deliver product outcomes.
