Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks an Engineering Director to own the build and delivery of healthcare technology platforms and digital products. The role reports to the VP of Technology and leads onshore and offshore engineers, remaining hands-on in architecture for distributed systems.

The position is full-time remote, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Candidates must be willing to work on a W2 basis.

Qualifications

Minimum 15 years in IT design, development, and support with end-to-end enterprise application delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage onshore and offshore engineers delivering healthcare platforms and digital products.
Perform hands-on solution architecture and design for complex distributed systems, participating in design and code reviews.
Drive engineering practices including code quality, design and code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and release management.
Champion AI-assisted engineering by embedding LLMs and automation into workflows.
Partner with business stakeholders from requirements discovery through deployment and operational support.
Guide technology planning and investment decisions aligning platform solutions to roadmaps.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and present to multiple management levels.
Ensure security and data integrity for PCI and HIPAA objectives.
