Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks an Engineering Director to own the build and delivery of healthcare technology platforms and digital products. The role reports to the VP of Technology and leads onshore and offshore engineers, while remaining hands-on in solution architecture and AI-assisted engineering.

Responsibilities include guiding architecture, aligning roadmaps, and ensuring PCI/HIPAA compliance, with a focus on secure, reliable, and scalable delivery for vulnerable seniors across healthcare domains.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT design and end-to-end enterprise application delivery.
• 5+ years engineering leadership with distributed onshore/offshore teams.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft development tools and .NET.
• Experience with Azure cloud and AI-assisted engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead onshore and offshore engineers, including hiring, training, supervising, and developing team members.
• Hands-on solution architecture and design for complex distributed systems and code reviews.
• Drive engineering practices: code quality, reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, release management.
• Champion AI-assisted engineering by embedding LLMs, AI tooling, and automation into workflows.
• Partner with stakeholders from requirements discovery through deployment and operation to deliver product outcomes.
• Guide technology planning and investment decisions aligning platform solutions to roadmaps.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and present to multiple management levels.
• Ensure security and data integrity for PCI and HIPAA objectives.
• Maintain environments and documentation; protect privacy and comply with policies.
