Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an Engineering Director to own the build and delivery of healthcare technology platforms and related digital products. The role reports to the VP of Technology and leads onshore and offshore engineers, remaining hands-on in solution architecture for complex distributed systems and championing AI-assisted engineering to enhance software delivery.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT design, development, and support with end-to-end enterprise delivery.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership including distributed onshore/offshore models.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft development tools and languages (.NET).
• Extensive experience with cloud-native architecture and Azure delivery.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and practices.
• Ability to translate requirements into secure, compliant solutions for healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage onshore and offshore engineers delivering healthcare platforms and digital products.
• Perform hands-on solution architecture and design for complex distributed systems and participate in reviews.
• Drive engineering practices: code quality, reviews, testing discipline, CI/CD, release management.
• Champion AI-assisted engineering with LLMs and automation across design, build, test, and release workflows.
• Partner with stakeholders from requirements discovery through deployment and support to deliver product outcomes.
• Guide technology planning and investment decisions aligning platform solutions to roadmaps.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and senior leadership; ensure security and data integrity.
