Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an Engineering Director to own the build and delivery of healthcare technology platforms and related digital products. The role leads onshore and offshore engineers, while remaining hands-on in architecture for distributed systems and championing AI-assisted engineering to improve delivery.

This full-time, permanent role reports to the VP of Technology and requires willingness to work on a W2 basis with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in IT design, development, and support.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering leadership including distributed onshore/offshore models.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft development tools and languages (.NET).
• Extensive experience with cloud-native architecture and Azure delivery.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage onshore and offshore engineers delivering healthcare platforms and digital products.
• Perform hands-on solution architecture and design for complex distributed systems.
• Drive engineering practices including CI/CD, code reviews, testing, and release management.
• Champion AI-assisted engineering by embedding LLMs and automation into workflows.
• Partner with stakeholders from requirements discovery through deployment and support.
