Job summary

CSG in Milton, MA seeks an Engagement Manager to lead medium to large software implementation projects end to end. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure successful delivery against commitments.

You will mentor other project managers, drive process improvements, and engage with clients to align expectations and outcomes in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience managing software implementation or software development projects.
• Strong understanding of PM principles: scope, schedule, budget, risk, change, and resources.
• Experience creating project plans, budgets, resource forecasts, communications, and governance materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience mentoring project managers or improving delivery processes.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English in a business environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple medium to large complexity projects, end to end.
• Create or obtain approval for project initiation documents, delivery approaches, project success criteria, and materials supporting internal program reviews.
• Deliver projects within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and changes; escalates and resolves concerns with the appropriate account and delivery leaders.
• Facilitate project workshops, status meetings, stakeholder forums, and decision‑making sessions.
• Create and execute communication plans and establish project infrastructure for effective information sharing and document management.
• Develop and contribute to project budgets and resource forecasts; track delivery performance against budget and forecast, and address variances.
• Ensure project deliverables and documentation are complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with delivery standards.
• Contribute to initiatives that improve the Delivery practice and CSG's project delivery capabilities.
• Mentor and support other project managers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
