Job summary

Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana seeks an Engagement Manager to grow and manage key accounts for Fresh Connect Central, serving food banks and other partners. You will bridge customer needs with FCC products, ensuring a positive experience and long-term relationships while advancing the organization’s hunger-relief mission.

You’ll develop strategic account plans, respond to inquiries, collaborate across teams, and travel to customer locations as needed to identify opportunities and promote FCC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of food distribution required.
• Advanced knowledge of the food banking industry desired.
• Prior sales and account management experience desired.
• Experience with CRM systems preferred with ability to create reports.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account plans to meet sales, growth, and retention goals.
• Engage customers to understand needs, identify opportunities, and connect to FCC products.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and provide ongoing account support.
• Pursue new business opportunities within the food banking network and related organizations.
• Collaborate with Quote Specialist to develop quotes and proposals within pricing guidelines.
• Present proposals and secure commitments after negotiations within approvals.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Quote Specialist on orders and issues.
• Visit customer locations to analyze operations and procurement needs for growth opportunities.
• Share demand and feedback with internal teams to inform sourcing and production.
• Represent FCC at events to promote offerings and develop partnerships.
