Job summary

Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana is seeking an Engagement Manager to develop and maintain customer relationships for Fresh Connect Central (FCC), a DBA of Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, Inc. You will identify opportunities, service accounts, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience aligned with FCC offerings.

The role requires strong relationship-building, CRM proficiency, and knowledge of food distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of food distribution required.
• Advanced knowledge of food banking industry desired.
• Prior sales & account management experience desired.
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account plans to meet sales, growth, and retention goals.
• Engage customers to understand needs and connect them with FCC products and services.
• Respond to inquiries and provide ongoing account support to strengthen relationships.
• Research and pursue new business opportunities within the food banking network and other organizations.
• Collaborate with Quote Specialist to develop quotes and proposals within pricing and terms.
• Present proposals, negotiate within guidelines, and secure commitments.
