Job summary

The Engagement Manager at Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana will develop and manage strategic accounts for Fresh Connect Central, a DBA of Gleaners Foods. You will build long-term customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver FCC products and services.

You will travel to customer locations, conferences, and events as needed while maintaining accurate records in the CRM and contributing to revenue growth and customer satisfaction in a nationwide

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced knowledge of food distribution required
• Advanced knowledge of food banking industry desired
• Prior sales & account management experience desired
• CRM systems experience preferred with the ability to create, analyze, and present reports
• Knowledge of food safety regulations desired

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account plans to meet established sales, account growth, and customer retention goals.
• Engage active, inactive, and prospective customers to understand their needs, identify opportunities, and connect them with FCC products and services.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide ongoing account support to strengthen customer satisfaction and lasting relationships.
• Research and pursue new business opportunities within the food banking network and with other organizations that are suitable customers for FCC products and services.
• Collaborate with the Quote Specialist to develop accurate quotes and proposals that align with approved pricing, margin expectations, and customer terms.
