Job summary

Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana is seeking an Engagement Manager to develop and sustain customer relationships for Fresh Connect Central (FCC), mainly serving food banks. You will identify opportunities, craft account plans, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver FCC products and services, driving growth and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include pursuing new business within the food banking network, collaborating on quotes, and maintaining CRM data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of food distribution.
• Advanced knowledge of food banking industry.
• Prior sales and account management experience.
• Experience with CRM systems and reporting.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account plans to meet sales and growth goals.
• Engage customers to understand needs and connect them with FCC products.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and provide ongoing support.
• Pursue new business opportunities within food banking networks.
• Collaborate to develop quotes and proposals aligned with pricing and terms.
• Present proposals and secure customer commitments.
• Coordinate with teams to communicate requirements and track orders.
• Visit customer locations to analyze operations and procurement needs.
• Build relationships with partners to expand FCC awareness.
• Maintain accurate customer records and forecast progress.
