Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Project Executive to lead multiple solar, storage, and high voltage substation projects. You will coordinate teams across engineering, controls, finance, and field operations to protect project profitability and client satisfaction.

This role can be remote or hybrid with regular in-office presence in San Diego, CA. You will have a track record of managing large-scale projects, strong contract and scheduling skills, and the ability to mentor staff while

Qualifications

• 10+ years in design or construction of utility or industrial infrastructure projects.
• Experience with electrical equipment design/installation and project execution.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Strong leadership in remote environments and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Proficient in office practices, procedures and equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and prioritization.
• P6 scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margin.
• Make project-level executive decisions on cost and risk.
• Lead complex change management events with Owners, Subcontractors, and regulators.
• Support development of standards and processes to improve the business.
• Hire, train, and mentor team members for project roles.
• Oversee project reporting, cost forecasting, and cash-flow optimization.
• Coordinate with Owners, Engineers, and Subcontractors to build strong partnerships.
