Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Project Executive to lead multiple solar, storage, and substation projects nationwide. The role offers either full remote or hybrid work with in-office presence in San Diego, CA.

You will lead project teams and coordinate across engineering, controls, finance, and field operations to ensure profitability and timely completion. Responsibilities include negotiating complex contracts, approving budgets and schedules, and driving successful change management

Qualifications

• 10+ years of design/construction experience in utility or commercial/industrial infra projects.
• Knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Ability to lead remote/multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent client-facing and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams.
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets and profit margins.
• Make executive project-level decisions with cost and risk implications.
• Oversee change management events with Owners, Subcontractors, and regulators.
• Support other departments including business development, estimating and services.
• Hire, train and mentor team members for project teams.
• Develop and maintain standards and processes to improve the business.
• Coordinate with project team to identify needs and hire third parties to execute work.
