Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Project Executive to lead multiple solar, storage, and HV substation projects. This role offers either full remote work or hybrid with regular in-office presence in San Diego, CA.

You will coordinate with engineering, controls, finance, and field operations to ensure profitable project delivery. Responsibilities encompass contract reviews, schedules, budgets, risk management, and change orders, while mentoring staff and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of design/construction experience in utility or industrial infrastructure.
• Leadership ability to assemble remote teams into a cohesive unit.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency with office practices, procedures and equipment.
• P6 scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margins.
• Make executive decisions on projects with significant cost and risk.
• Oversee change management events involving Owners, Subcontractors, etc.
• Support other departments including business development and estimating.
• Hire, train, and mentor project team members.
• Develop standards and processes to improve the business.
• Coordinate with execution team on scheduling, cost control, procurement, and invoicing.
• Maintain timely reporting on cost forecasting and EAC.
