Job summary

Clean Energy Services (CES) is seeking a Business Development Manager to build customer relationships and win new work across battery storage, solar and data center services. You will collaborate with leadership, operations and technical teams to identify opportunities and develop proposals, moving opportunities from first contact to contract.

This hands-on role emphasizes relationship-building, initiative and the ability to manage multiple opportunities remotely while traveling to client sites.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines.
• Willingness to learn the commercial side of business development.
• Experience in sales or business development is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with asset owners, developers, data center operators, EPCs and equipment manufacturers.
• Identify opportunities across battery storage, solar and data center infrastructure for O&M and related services.
• Prepare proposals using templates and track RFP requirements.
• Support contractual negotiations and pricing discussions with guidance from leadership.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of activity, value and next steps.
• Hand off awarded work to operations with clear scope and expectations.
