Job summary

CS e-STORAGE US, a Canadian Solar subsidiary, seeks a Sr. Business Development Manager to drive growth in energy storage solutions across the US. You will shape product strategy, build partnerships, and lead initiatives with suppliers and customers.

This role requires 5+ years in energy storage/wind/solar, a proven BD track record, and the ability to travel up to 50%. You will work in a dynamic, global team and enjoy a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package in a remote US

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in Energy Storage, Wind and solar industry.
• Proven track record of business development.
• Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams.
• Ability to travel as required – up to ~50%.

Responsibilities

• Collect & understand customer needs, market trends and input from across organizational leadership to align product strategy and roadmap in the Energy Storage market segment.
• Identifying Opportunities, Proposal Preparation for the RFPs, Budgeting and Pricing, Price and Contract terms negotiation and Post-Bid Analysis.
• Develop and engage early adopter customer in testing and launching of new Energy Storage product and solutions.
• Carry out feasibility studies/business plans for product or service improvement, customizing, remodeling and new product / sales / service development.
• Align with internal development and delivery team or external supplier to ensure consistency in product and schedule expectation.
• Conduct and participate in midterm and final product design review to assess product quality.
• Work with field marketing and sales team in managing product launch process.
