Job summary

Moss, a nationwide EPC and construction management firm, seeks an Energy Field Recruiter to build and manage talent pipelines for craft and hourly workers on solar and renewable energy projects. This remote role supports multiple project sites with 50-70% travel and collaboration with project leadership.

The ideal candidate has full-cycle recruiting experience, strong sourcing skills, and a passion for field recruitment.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-cycle recruiting, workforce recruitment, talent acquisition, or related staffing functions.
• Strong sourcing and candidate engagement across multiple recruiting platforms and channels.
• Ability to build relationships with field leadership, hiring managers, community partners, and candidates.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience recruiting for construction, renewable energy, solar, skilled trades, or industrial environments preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish and/or English/Haitian Creole strongly preferred, with diverse populations.
• Willingness to travel periodically to project sites, events, and recruiting activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruiting strategies to build active talent pipelines for craft and hourly workforce across project sites.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce plans, job requirements, and local labor market conditions.
• Source and engage qualified candidates through boards, social media, networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
• Promote Moss's employer brand and communicate culture, benefits, and career opportunities to candidates.
• Create market-specific recruiting plans by researching local demographics and labor trends.
• Establish relationships with workforce centers and community partners to enhance recruitment.
• Review resumes and conduct initial phone screenings to identify qualified candidates.
• Coordinate candidate movement through hiring process for a smooth experience.
• Organize and participate in hiring events, career fairs, and site recruiting initiatives.
• Maintain active candidate pipelines and talent communities for future staffing.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team on market intelligence and best practices.
• Track recruiting activity and ensure timely communication with candidates and stakeholders.
