Job summary

3M is seeking an End User Sales Representative to grow sales in an assigned US territory (TX, LA, OK, AR) for the OEM/Specialty division of Electrical Markets. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years in field/channel sales (Electrical/OEM), and a valid driver's license.

Spanish proficiency and Salesforce.com experience are a plus. The position may be remote within the United States with up to 40% travel and relocation assistance potentially available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
• Three (3) years of field/channel sales experience in a private, public, government, or military environment, including experience in the Electrical/OEM industry.
• Current, valid Driver's License.
• Strong negotiation and relationship building skills.
• Strong computer skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Salesforce.com.
• Proficiency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Establishing and achieving objectives: manage territory, set goals, and coordinate efforts to meet quarterly/annual targets.
• Driving sales and marketing activities: apply 3M brand/value propositions to maximize revenue and train customers.
• Coordinate and plan territory activities: manage time and resources for coverage.
• Demonstrating leadership: lead accounts, peers, and possibly mentor other reps in a co-facilitation role.
• Continuously developing skills: keep up with market, products, and selling techniques.
