Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc offers a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns participate in development workshops, network, and work on meaningful projects mentored by their managers, while continuing to grow throughout the summer in various tracks across business, IT, analytics, and more.

From June to August, interns work up to 40 hours per week. Housing is not provided.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in full-time undergrad or graduate program.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Support development team by implementing and testing app enhancements.
• Complete conversion work and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate through code reviews and technical discussions.
• Deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Create and deliver presentations at internship completion.
• Maintain confidentiality and align with company mission.
• Attend to attendance and other assigned functions.
