Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc invites applications for a 10-week Summer College Internship Program for undergrad and grad students in New York. Interns gain real projects, attend development workshops, and are mentored by managers across multiple tracks including IT, Analytics, Finance, Marketing, and more.

Salary is paid weekly and roles involve code development, data work, and presentations; housing is not provided.

Qualifications

• Desired majors include Computing Sciences & Information Technology or Mathematics & Data Science.
• Experience with object oriented programming; Java, Python, VBScript, SQL and Agile methods preferred.
• High school diploma with proof of continuous college enrollment; must remain in good academic standing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist with test automation code development and utilities.
• Create synthetic data using in-house tools and perform code reviews.
• Participate in requirement reviews and documentation tasks.
• Work with a mentor on strategic projects and deliver presentations at internship end.
