Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks a Preconstruction Manager II to lead planning, risk management, and handoffs from estimating to operations across renewable projects. You will coordinate subcontracting, procurement, and cross-functional alignments with Legal, Commercial, and Estimating teams.

This role offers office locations in multiple cities or remote work with travel to field sites as needed, with mentorship of staff and advancement in preconstruction excellence.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Law, Business or related field.
• 5-7 years relevant experience with 2 years Project Management experience required.
• Experience in Preconstruction required.
• Renewables industry construction and contract negotiations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, and supervise the work of all assigned projects through preconstruction.
• Mentor direct reports and oversee project deliverables.
• Provide direction to project staff to meet goals and targets.
• Build and maintain client relationships both internal and external.
• Partner with Estimating, Procurement, Engineering and Legal teams on precontract activities.
• Prepare monthly reports and support project execution planning.
