Macmillan Learning in Memphis, TN seeks a Field Sales Representative to promote our educational solutions to higher education. You’ll engage with professors, committees, and bookstore staff, balancing campus visits with strategic territory planning and CRM-driven pipeline management.

You have a bachelor’s or equivalent experience, proven direct sales success, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the broader team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent professional experience.
• Direct sales with track record of closing opportunities.
• Able to manage a territory independently and collaborate with team.
• Proficient with CRM and digital presentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily sales calls and on-campus visits to promote products.
• Deliver tailored presentations and complimentary materials to faculty.
• Update customer profiles, opportunities, and pipelines in CRM.
• Service accounts and build long-term relationships with faculty and staff.
• Plan quarterly travel itineraries and daily call schedules for coverage.
• Allocate budgets for sampling and travel for territory productivity.
• Provide weekly updates and sales tracking to manager.
• Attend professional conferences and regional/national sales meetings.
