Job summary

National General Holdings Corp., a member of the Allstate family, is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth by generating new business, cross-selling, and building lasting relationships. This role sells locally in person and by phone while expanding through community involvement and outside marketing efforts.

The position offers base pay of $20.00 per hour, with incentive potential and comprehensive benefits, including Day 1 medical, dental, vision, and PTO.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of sales experience.
• P&C licensing preferred or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals.
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales.
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations.
