Job summary

National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth through acquiring new business, cross-selling, and maintaining a strong book of business. You will sell to local customers in person and by phone, leveraging community involvement and referrals to fuel expansion.

The role offers Day 1 benefits, a base hourly rate of $20, and uncapped monthly incentives with a multi-faceted training program.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience.
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals.
• Develop relationships within the community (dealerships, events, local partners) to support growth.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales.
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations.
