Job summary

National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, seeks a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to grow our local book of business. You will sell home, auto, and specialty products to customers in-store and over the phone, building a pipeline through community ties and referrals.

Qualifications

• 0– 2 years of experience
• P&C licensing preferred or must attain licensure within 90 days of joining the company

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
• Develop relationships within the community to support business growth
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations
