Job summary

The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) seeks an Eligibility Specialist 2 to join the Statewide Field Support Team in Columbus. You will determine initial and ongoing Pathways eligibility and coordinate with SNAP E&T and GVRA partners.

Responsibilities include processing applications, reviewing data, documenting actions, and ensuring program participation. Telework opportunities depend on the position and DHS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer contact/interaction experience.
• Ability to determine eligibility and document findings.
• Experience handling data securely and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Determines initial or continued Pathways eligibility and participation requirements.
• Processes applications and reviews using applicable criteria and policies.
• Records and evaluates personal and financial data from individuals.
• Enters data with standard office hardware/software.
• Monitors participation in qualified activities.
• Coordinates with SNAP E&T Unit for ABAWD population.
• Makes referrals to GVRA and collaborates with partners.
