Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience with customer contact/interaction.
• Preference: 4 years related experience with customer contact/interaction.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or standard software applications used in a corporate office.
• Ability to enter high volume data accurately and regularly.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Excellent customer service skills across diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Determines initial and ongoing eligibility for Family Medicaid, Aged/Blind/Disabled Medicaid, or SNAP.
• Processes applications, reviews, hearing requests and changes per guidelines.
• Records and evaluates personal and financial data from individuals.
• Enrolls online applications, renewals, and processes verification.
• Adheres to daily work schedule and attendance policies.
• Assists LEPSI by collaborating with Language Line.
• Documents calls per SOPs and inputs data using standard office technology.
• Provides professional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned.
