Job summary

VIATechnik is hiring a VDC Project Manager - Electrical to lead BIM/VDC projects for electrical systems on complex design-construction programs, delivering accurate, coordinated models and field-ready outputs for clients.

You will act as primary client contact, translate requirements into delivery strategies, mentor teams, and drive continuous improvement. Remote US role with growth opportunities and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction management or a similar discipline.
• 5–10 years of project experience for a general contractor, trade contractor, or MEP design firm with 5+ years in a VDC capacity.
• Electrical BIM/VDC Experience.
• Background in MEP design and managing LOD300-LOD400 Revit models.
• Strong technical understanding of project management processes, tools, systems, workflows, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead High-Impact Electrical VDC Projects from planning through execution, ensuring deliverables are accurate, coordinated, and field-ready.
• Be the Trusted Client Partner: act as the primary point of contact for clients and translate requirements into clear strategies.
• Continuously improve delivery by optimizing workflows, enhancing coordination, and integrating new tools, including AI and automation.
• Elevate Team Performance: mentor and support project teams, sharing best practices and raising quality and delivery excellence across the organization.
• Lead trade coordination, run clash detection, and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Ensure projects meet goals and client expectations through proactive leadership.
