Job summary

VIATechnik is seeking a VDC Director to shape strategy and oversee delivery across client portfolios. You will lead managers and BIM specialists, ensuring scalable, data-driven workflows and technology enablement that improves project outcomes.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive digital transformation, establish standards, and sustain financial performance while expanding VIATechnik's leadership in digital construction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in AECO BIM/VDC, including hands-on technical roles, and led a VDC or BIM practice across multiple teams and client portfolios.
• Experience across full project lifecycle from design through construction to operations and understanding roles of owners, designers, contractors, and facility teams.
• Proven ability to translate client needs into scoped engagements with clear outcomes and to build and adopt standards and playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Define and advance an enterprise VDC strategy across preconstruction, delivery, and operations, improving predictability, cost, schedule, and field performance.
• Turn shifting client needs into clearly scoped projects with defined milestones and quality checkpoints.
• Grow strategic client relationships as senior sponsor, expanding scope and long-term partnerships.
• Own operational and financial performance across the VDC portfolio with predictable revenue and disciplined margins.
• Introduce emerging technologies and Lean principles to create measurable value for clients and internal teams.
