Job summary

Amteck seeks a Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Project Manager to drive excellence across electrical design-build projects. The role oversees BIM execution, scheduling, and collaboration with PMs, vendors, and field teams to ensure high-quality VDC deliverables.

The position may be fully remote or based in our Lexington, KY or Greenville, SC offices, offering opportunities to lead and mentor teams while advancing project efficiencies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Understanding of BIM/VDC principles and workflows.
• Experience in project planning and scheduling.
• Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders and facilitate collaboration.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams, enforce safety protocols, and foster a positive working environment.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop project-specific BIM execution plans, including Level of Detail (LOD) specifications, and BIM standards.
• Review construction schedules and coordinate with BIM Team and PMs/APMs.
• Review new drawings to capture changes affecting BIM efforts and reduce rework.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and ensure project requirements are met.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of 3D models using Navisworks, Liquid Cloud and Open Space.
• Contribute to process improvements and VDC strategies.
• Keep VDC workflows and Trello Blue Board up to date.
• Assist in reviewing installation drawings for standards and approvals.
• Assist in evaluating and implementing new VDC technologies and workflows.
• Assist in setting up models for new projects.
