Job summary

VIATechnik is seeking a VDC Manager to lead BIM and VDC implementations for transformative infrastructure and facility projects across the United States. This remote role (hybrid option from Chicago/Denver/New York offices) will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, drive BIM standards, manage data environments, and serve as BIM Owner's rep on major capital programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or master's degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction management or similar.
• 5-10 years of experience providing implementation, training, and support in BIM and VDC.
• 5+ years of experience providing BIM coordination services on major and complex projects.
• Experience in coordinating BIM updates and running clash detection with stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret construction contracts.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage complex commercial/industrial design projects in BIM.

Responsibilities

• Lead nationwide BIM conversion roadmap.
• Develop and deliver an Enterprise BIM training program for a major client.
• Develop and implement enterprise-level BIM standards.
