Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator to support Electrical Preventative Maintenance (EPM) projects from a remote-enabled location in the US. You will assist in planning, tracking progress, and coordinating with customers and contractors to ensure timely, cost-effective deliverables.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in customer service, account management and/or project support, with demonstrated success in building relationships.
• Construction project management experience preferred, with ability to manage complex deliverables and timelines.
• Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and motivation to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability to define issues, collect data, draw conclusions, and implement solutions.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical services or willingness to learn technical aspects quickly.
• Adaptability in fast-paced, changing environments, with skill in handling ambiguity and conflict resolution.
• Proven coordination and communication skills to align internal teams and customers, meeting unique requirements.
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Performance: Analyze planned vs. actual project performance and assist in reviews.
• Customer & Contractor Management: Build relationships with customers and contractors; manage deliverables and scheduling.
• Financial & Administrative Oversight: Track financials, issue POs, process change orders, and manage invoicing.
• Material & Operational Coordination: Research and order materials; coordinate with contractors, customers, and suppliers; monitor progress.
