Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Project Support role within the U.S. Data Center Services CoE to coordinate high-demand projects and support on-time, in-budget execution. You will work remotely across U.S. time zones, assisting Project Managers, handling invoicing, and maintaining project documentation.

The role emphasizes cross-functional communication, scheduling meetings, and ensuring compliance with safety and project plans, with preferred CAPM/PMP credentials and 3+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher education and relevant work experience are a plus
• CAPM or PMP certification strongly preferred
• 2+ years experience in electrical-based project management or project support preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word); Microsoft Project Planner a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Ability to work across all U.S. time zones as needed
• Candidates must have work authorization to work in the US for ABB

Responsibilities

• Analyze plan vs. actual project performance.
• Monitor and release invoices; follow up on delays, errors, etc.
• Coordinate administrative tasks; maintain documentation via email, SharePoint, and project management software.
• Meet internal and customer SLAs and ensure timely engagement across projects.
• Assist PM with scheduling kickoff and recurring stakeholder meetings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve coordination/administrative issues.
• Act as backup for weekly PM calls.
• Review project plans; address site safety and integrity topics before project start.
