Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support preconstruction and project management with estimates, bid reviews, and cost analyses. The role involves coordinating take-offs, leading estimating teams on challenging projects, and ensuring accuracy across proposal documentation.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or equivalent in construction management and at least 1 year of electrical estimating experience, with strong communication and knowledge of

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in construction management or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of electrical estimating experience in estimating, pricing and bid processes.
• Excellent communication skills including documentation and report preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical contracts, plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical code.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Plans and monitors estimating activities for each project for quality and accuracy.
• Reviews bidding documents with project manager to determine costs.
• Uses estimating software to estimate projects.
• Surveys job sites for scope and cost planning.
• Composes estimate documents accurately and professionally.
• Assists in procurement, RFPs, bids, and related reports.
• Collaborates with design teams on design-build and design-assist projects.
• Provides coaching and mentoring to co-workers.
