Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support preconstruction and project management with cost estimates, bids, reviews, and value analysis. The role coordinates take-offs, collaborates with vendors and design teams, and participates in RFPs to drive accurate proposals.

The position can be fully remote or assigned to a local office, offering a salary range of $68,000–$89,100 and a comprehensive benefits package. Occasional travel may be required as part of project work.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in construction management or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of electrical construction estimating experience.
• Excellent communication skills including documentation and report preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical contracts, plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical code.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Plans and monitors the estimating activities of each project for quality and accuracy of work.
• Reviews all bidding documents and works with the project manager and chief estimator to determine general expenses, labor rates, and other costs.
• Utilizes estimating software to properly estimate projects.
• Surveys job sites as needed for scope of work and cost-effective planning.
• Composes estimate documents in an accurate, complete, and professional manner.
• Assists in interview procurement, proposal writing for RFPs, bids, and related reports.
• Ensure all estimates and RFPs meet customer and company satisfaction standards.
• Collaborates with purchasing to reduce material buyout risk.
• Partners with design teams on design build and design assist projects.
• Provides coaching, mentoring, and training to co-workers as needed.
