Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC is seeking an Electrical Estimator who can work fully remote or be assigned to a local office. This role supports preconstruction and project management with estimates, bid reviews, cost analysis, and value engineering on electrical and related systems.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or equivalent, at least 1 year of electrical estimating experience, strong communication, and the ability to read contracts and plans. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in construction management.
• Minimum 1 year of electrical construction estimating experience.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to read electrical contracts, plans and specs.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical code.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Plans and monitors estimating activities for quality and accuracy.
• Reviews bidding documents with project manager and chief estimator to determine costs.
• Utilizes estimating software to properly estimate projects.
• Surveys job sites for scope of work and cost-effective planning.
• Composes estimate documents in a complete, professional manner.
• Assists in interview procurement and bids for RFPs.
• Ensures all estimates meet customer and company standards.
• Collaborates with purchasing to reduce material buyout risk.
• Partners with design teams on design-build and design-assist projects.
• Provides coaching and training to coworkers as needed.
