Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to support preconstruction and project management teams. The role involves preparing estimates, reviewing bids, conducting cost analyses, and mentoring junior estimators.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of electrical construction estimating experience, proficiency with Accubid, and strong analytical and communication abilities. The position can be fully remote or assigned to a local office, with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in construction management or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of electrical construction estimating experience.
• Experience using estimating software such as Accubid; familiarity with field installation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical contracts, plans, drawings and specifications; strong codes knowledge.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem solving and time-management skills.
• Experience in project life cycle and cost/value analysis.
• Ability to collaborate with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate estimates, bids, and proposal documentation.
• Lead bid reviews and coordinate take-offs with procurement and design teams.
• Review subcontractor quotes and manage estimates to meet deadlines.
• Mentor junior estimators and provide coaching on large projects.
• Stay informed on electrical codes, technologies, and best practices.
