Job summary

Applied Engineering seeks an Electrical Design Engineer with remote options to lead electrical design and validation across major subsystems. Translate requirements into robust designs, own schematics and BOMs, and drive design reviews and testing.

You will collaborate with mechanical, systems, manufacturing, sourcing and quality teams while mentoring early-career engineers and reinforcing electrical design standards. Willingness to travel up to 20% within the USA is required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of industrial electrical design experience.
• Ability to design switchgear, switchboards, transfer switches, and generators.
• Familiarity with NEC, UL, and derating criteria.
• Experience with design docs, reviews, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Travel up to 20% within the USA.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and validation for major subsystems and product areas.
